There is a difference between a friend and a mate. Pete was a mate. We met at Louth Golf Club some years ago and played golf for a few years. Pete wasn't too bad really. Because we had the same sense of humour and values about things we also had drinks and curry nights some times along with Andy Sayers and Andy Platt, two other golfers. They could get a bit messy but we enjoyed ourselves. Pete will be greatly missed by me and his pals. One of the good guys in life.

Heartbroken dosnt even come close. Although we didn't spend all our time together, when we did wow. Your laughter and general love of life rubbed of onto everyone. Sarah and I will miss you dearly my friend. Motorcycling or I.O.M. wont be the same with out you.Love you Pete. Xxx.

I’m going to miss you Pete, always laughing and joking on our motorbike trips. The banter was non-stop. It was very raw this weekend as was one of those cherished weekends away and you were sorely missed. Rest easy mate until we meet again, love Alec x
